The short version
We do not ask you to create an account, we do not sell anything directly, and we do not sell or share personal information. The only information you actively give us is what you type into the contact form, and the only reason we hold it is to reply to you.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you submit. That is sent to our own inbox by email and is used solely to respond to you. We do not add it to a mailing list.
The contact form also records a timestamp for when the page loaded and your IP address, used only for spam prevention - to detect automated submissions and to rate-limit abuse. That data is held in server memory transiently and is not written to a database.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and operational reasons.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people move through the site. It sets cookies and collects usage data including approximate location, device and browser information, pages viewed, and clicks on outbound product links. We use this in aggregate and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone
- We do not run advertising networks or behavioral ad targeting on this site
- We do not operate a newsletter or mailing list
- We do not ask for or store payment details - we are not a retailer
- We do not require an account to read anything here
Affiliate links
Product links on this site route through a redirect on our own domain and then to Amazon, carrying our Amazon Associates tracking identifier. Amazon uses that identifier to attribute a purchase to us, and their own cookies and privacy practices apply once you arrive on their site.
We do not receive any personal information about you from Amazon - only aggregate reporting about orders and commission. How the affiliate relationship works.

- Microsoft (Graph API) - delivery of contact form messages by email
- Amazon - the retailer our product links point to
Each of these operates under its own privacy policy, which applies to data it handles.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own for advertising or personalization. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish sessions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and doing so will not stop any part of this site working - nothing here requires them.
How long we keep things
Contact form messages are kept in our email for as long as is useful for correspondence and then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ configured retention period. Spam-prevention data is transient and is not written to storage.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. In practice the only personal information we are likely to hold is an email exchange you started.

Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described rather than made silently.
